Beach and bulb fields on your doorstep
Het Binnenhuys is in Noordwijk-Binnen, the old village centre of Noordwijk. The beach is 1.5 km away. The supermarket, bakery and restaurants are an easy walk. By bike you're in the dunes within minutes, and the big cities are close by car.
Within walking distance
- The beach is 1.5 km away, about 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes by bike.
- The supermarket and bakery are five minutes away.
- Noordwijk-Binnen is the historic centre, with the Sint Jeroenskerk, charming little streets and a few nice restaurants.
- Every Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00 there's a market next to the Sint Jeroenskerk.
By bike
With the four bikes at the house you can quickly get:
- into the dunes and the woods;
- along the bulb fields of the Bollenstreek, a sea of colour in spring;
- to the Keukenhof in Lisse, about 10 km by bike. In spring you walk there among tulips and hyacinths in every colour you can think of;
- to Noordwijk aan Zee, with its promenade and beach pavilions;
- to Katwijk, with a market on the Marktplein every Friday.

- Leiden: about 20 minutes

- Circuit Zandvoort: 20 km, also a lovely drive through the dunes
For a rainy day
- Space Expo, Noordwijk's space museum, is fun for young and old.
- Noordwijk has a modern swimming pool.
- Leiden, a short drive away, has museums and canals.
