Booking and payment
Why is booking direct cheaper?
On this website you pay no booking platform service fees. You only pay the nightly rate and a one-off €75 cleaning fee.
How long can we stay?
At least 3 and at most 14 nights. For a stay of a week you get a 10% discount.
How far in advance do we need to book?
At least 3 days before arrival.
How can we pay?
By bank transfer. After you book, we send you an invoice with the payment details. Please pay within 7 days of booking.
What if we need to cancel?
You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. Between 14 and 7 days before arrival you get 50% back; after that, no refund is possible. Please cancel by e-mail.
Arrival and departure
When can we arrive and leave?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. If the house is free the day before, an earlier arrival is sometimes possible by arrangement.
How do we get the key?
If we're home, we'll welcome you in person. If we're out, you use the key safe. We'll send you all the details in advance.
Where can we park?
There's free parking for one car on our property. You can also park in the surrounding streets, some of them free.
The house
Are the bikes, hot tub and parking really included?
Yes, all three. You pay nothing extra for them.
Are the bikes electric?
No, they're ordinary city bikes with gears. You can hire an e-bike from Lemonbike.nl.
How does the hot tub work?
The hot tub is wood-fired. The wood is ready for you, and before your arrival we'll send you instructions on how to light it.
Is breakfast included?
No, we don't serve breakfast. There are several bakeries and a supermarket within walking distance, and the kitchen is fully equipped.
Is there wifi?
Yes, wifi is free.
Children, pets and rules
Are children welcome?
Very much so. The garden is enclosed by a gate and a hedge. On request we have a cot and a high chair, as well as stair gates.
Can we bring pets?
No, pets are not allowed.
Is smoking allowed?
No, smoking is not allowed in the house.
Can we sit outside in the evening?
Until 22:00. The house is in a residential area, and because of noise, sitting outside after that is not allowed.
Can we have a party?
No, the house is not suitable for parties.
